This course enables learners to understand the aims and importance of Physical Education, trace the historical development of Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, and Athletics, and derive enjoyment from participating in these activities. Learners acquire and apply skills and techniques necessary for participation and competition, officiate games, and develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed by a sports officer or PE teacher. They are also trained to promote sports within society and apply first aid principles to treat sports injuries.

INTRODUCTION

This course is intended to equip the trainee with knowledge skills and attitudes that enable him/her teach Economics as a subject.
